The President of GAUA-UCC, Mr. Felix Adu-Poku, commended them for sailing through the competitive selection process and was optimistic that they would excel, considering their varied backgrounds in administration.
He outlined some significant achievements and challenges of the Association, including GAUA’s resilience in the fight against unfair treatment of university administrators, and the Association's progressive efforts, such as organising workshops and professional development programmes.
He called on the members of GAUA to stir up hope and work together towards a promising future.
The Registrar, Mr. Gideon Enoch Abbeyquaye, who chaired the programme, called on them to exhibit high levels of integrity and professionalism to help accelerate the development of the University.
He reminded them that professionalism was not a one-off achievement but a daily commitment that demanded discipline, emotional balance and continuous learning.
Present at the ceremony were some former executives of the Association.
