The aforementioned students to the department have presented plaques to all lecturers in the department as a sign of their appreciation to the lecturers and the department for the wealth of knowledge that they have acquired throughout their course of study. The plaques with the inscription of lectures names and designations were to be place in their offices for easy identification for any visitor who will not be familiar with the names of the lecturers. According to the students though the course was packed and hectic, the lecturers made it very common for them to easily forget the difficult aspect. To them apart from studies or academic part, they have also learnt some important lessons of life. The lecturers taught them the importance of discipline and hard work which they should always exhibit where ever they find themselves. Prof. D.D. Agyei, the Vice Dean and senior member at the Faculty of Science and Technology Education, who received the items on behalf of the Head of Department, Dr Kofi Ayebi-Arthur advised the students to always apply the knowledge they have acquired during their stay on campus in their daily lives and respective places of work for the development of mother Ghana. Present at the short ceremony were Mr. Fred Peniana, Principal Admn. Assistant and Miss Ayesha Essoun the Administrative Assistant of the department.
