The Governing Council of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has appointed Professor Denis Worlanyo Aheto as the new Vice-Chancellor of the University.
The appointment was made at a Special Meeting of the Governing Council held on Thursday, 15th May 2026.
A statement signed by the Registrar, Gideon Enoch Abbeyquaye (Esq) indicated that the aapointment of Professor Aheto takes effect from 1st August 2026.
Professor Aheto currently serves as the Acting Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University.
