The University of Cape Coast has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Primesec Limited to construct a hostel facility for students on campus.
 
In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, said he was grateful to Primesec Limited for collaborating with the University to construct a hostel facility for students. He indicated that accommodation for students was a priority to the University adding “because of the increasing number of students, we only accommodate students in our halls of residence” he explained. 
 
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Primesec, Josie Charles said his company was aware of the current accommodation challenges in the University. He promised that his company had mobilised resources to construct the state-of-the-art hostel complex to accommodate more students of the University.
