Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama has appointed a five member Presidential Committee to determine the salaries of Article 71 office holders. The committee will determine the salaries of the President’s Ministers and political appointees, Members of Parliament (MPs), members of the Council of State, among others. The new committee which was inaugurated by the President will be chaired by Professor Dora Francisca Edu- Buandoh. Other members of the committee are Professor Kwamena Ahwoi, Dr. William Baah Boateng, Mrs. Norkor Duah and Mrs. Lydia Bawa.
