The Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Prof. (Mrs) Rosemond Boohene, has met with the Director of Research Support and Management at Nelson Mandela University, Dr. Palesa Natasha Mmankwe Mothapo.
At the meeting, Prof. Boohene expressed her warm welcome to Dr. Mothapo, who said her visit to UCC was a harbinger for a delegation from the Nelson Mandela University to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the management of UCC in July 2024.

Ahead of the signing of the MoU, the two sides discussed fraternal academic relations and opportunities for strengthening cooperation between UCC and Nelson Mandela University in various spheres to serve the development goals and aspirations of the two universities.
They also exchanged views on several issues of mutual academic interest.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Office of International Relations, Prof. Samuel Bert Boadi-Kusi; and several UCC officials.
